Houston meets Herndon in Miami on their way as one team to Cap Hatian, Haiti 4/2/16 10:30am
It was a bit early and dark this morning at 4:30 am as Melissa drove me to the airport. I was a little nervous, but still excited about the next adventure to Haiti to install a water system. I was about to meet up with some old Houston friends from our first installation in Blanket 2011,(Surpris and Leoni), and meet some new friends face to face in Miami. As a new team we would all fly to Cap Haitian, Haiti together from there. The adventure has started. Hopefully I will be able to keep you updated as the week progresses! Keep us all in your prayers, as well as those we are working beside. This will be their water system when we leave, to quench the thirst of many with clean water.
I wanted to update my friends at Herndon United Methodist Church about what is happening at Blanket Haiti where we installed our first water system in 2011.
I talked to Cliff Easter of First Baptist Church Metropolis IL that also does work at Blanket. They raised money so Pastor Evens could add two classrooms and an office to comply with the sponsorship he is receiving from Compassion International. He stated that the streetlight that Herndon United Methodist Church had installed was a great asset to all.
Fedo Desulime has posted some pictures on Facebook such as the one posted here:
of the new construction.
Thank God for all you have and pray for those less fortunate.

Five days until I once again have the opportunity to travel to Haiti and help install a water system at the Asebed Hospital in Cap-Haitien with a team from Houston. Prayers for the team April 2 – April 9.
Today bought some groceries for the trip. Graham crackers and peanut butter were a hit the last time.
Here is a picture Asebed Hospital where we will install the water system.
